SynGRID Successfully Completes Its First Project Review Meeting in Zagreb

The SynGRID consortium successfully held its First Review Meeting on 29 October 2025 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER), University of Zagreb. The hybrid event brought together all project partners on-site in Croatia, while Project Officer Agne Dobranskyte-Niskota from the European Research Executive Agency (REA) and External Reviewer Dr. Peter Dreyer from Denmark, a renowned smart-grid strategy and energy systems expert, joined the meeting online.

During the review, partners presented achievements from the first reporting period, covering progress across all work packages including coordination and IPR, regional outcomes and methodology, capacity building and R&I collaboration, regional innovation actions, and communication and dissemination.

The meeting served as an excellent opportunity to reflect on the first 15 months of the project, discuss lessons learned, and align on next steps for the upcoming period.

The consortium expressed its sincere gratitude for the constructive comments and guidance from both the Project Officer and the External Reviewer. Their valuable feedback will be carefully incorporated into the next phase of the project to strengthen SynGRID’s impact and synergies across regions.
