SynGRID Summer School #2: Applications Open for the Athens Edition

Following the success of the first SynGRID Summer School held in Ljubljana, the programme returns for its second edition, this time in Athens, Greece, from 20–24 April 2026.

The SynGRID Summer School is designed as an intensive, international learning experience bringing together students, researchers, and early-career professionals interested in the future of energy systems. Through expert-led lectures, practical sessions, and networking opportunities, participants explore cutting-edge approaches to modern power systems and renewable energy integration.

This year’s theme focuses on Intelligent and Secure Power Systems: Microgrids, Control, Stability and Real-Time Validation.

Participants will gain insight into advanced concepts shaping tomorrow’s energy infrastructure, including microgrid operation, system control strategies, stability challenges, and real-time validation methods. The programme combines academic expertise with practical perspectives, fostering collaboration across disciplines and institutions.
